Sturge Weber UK aim to host a Family Weekend every 12 months in recent years this has been held at the Hilton hotel in Coventry over 3 nights. We moved hotels in 2025 and held the Family Weekend at The Hilton In Leicester.
The weekend is highly subsidised through the fantastic fundraising that takes place during the year making the weekend affordable for all.
We aim to welcome members and their families into a safe and welcoming environment with a chance to meet old and new friends to share experiences of living with Sturge Weber Syndrome.
We invite relevant speakers to educate parents and carers about Sturge Weber Syndrome.
We host a teenage trip of site to encourage new opportunities for children and their siblings to build friendships.
We book a fully trained cheche company to help with childcare over the weekend so parents and carers can attend the speakers booked and socialise.
Private use of the swimming pool at set times over the weekend
We host a private evening party on the Saturday and Sunday night giving families a chance to socialise while the children and young people are entertained.
