I hope all our members are well and looking forward to lighter nights after changing the clocks last month. I hope all our mums and carers had a fabulous Mother’s day. You are all awesome and should be proud of yourselves.
New Logo
The Trustees are proud to launch the new logo. As you can see we took on board the comments made by members about those who wanted a new logo and those that wanted to stick with the old one. We hope that you agree that the new logo is a good balance of both sides of the discussions. The three faces represent the three types of Sturge Weber Syndrome.
The shop is in the process of being restocked with new exciting products. Watch this spaces as these will all be available to the Family Weekend.

ACTIVE IN APRIL 2022
What an absolutely amazing response we have had to Active in April. It is so uplifting to see peoples posts on the Active in April facebook page. Members, children and friends are all taking part in this years campaign. Already the Active in April team have jointly raised £1935. Lets hope that figure keeps going up and this is as of an exceptional event as last years was.
Family Weekend – 27th to 30th May 2022
The family weekend is fast approaching. Please ensure that if you have sent a booking form you have also paid your deposit. The final balance is due by Wednesday 27th April. If you have booked to join us a letter with further details will be sent out this month. We will be taking questions for Catherine Swales this month on seizures, emergency plans and transition. Please email any questions you may have to support@sturgeweber.org.uk before 18th April 2022.

Make a Difference Grant
The cost of living has drastically increased this last week. The Make a Difference Grant is available for our members. Examples of what this could cover are:-
Counselling, equipment, therapy, groceries, or help towards a bill you are struggling to pay.
THANK YOU
Thank you to those that have fundraised on our behalf during the month of March. Thanks for the donations received in memory of Martin Townsend.
